Your child’s birthday is an important day.  At school we will celebrate by announcing your child’s birthday during morning announcements and giving them a birthday pencil.  In accordance with our school policy, please do not send any food treats. They will be returned unopened.

Although it is not necessary, if you want to commemorate your child’s birthday consider sending a “birthday book” for your child’s classroom library. This book will become a permanent addition to your child’s classroom library.

You may also consider buying something from your child’s classroom wish list and giving it to your child’s class in honor of your child’s birthday. Still another option is a “goodie bag” for each student.  Please choose school related items only such as, pencils, erasers, stickers, etc.  Please do not send candy.
